Role summary
We are seeking to engage a passionate and resilient SW Teacher who is dedicated to inspiring and guiding students throughout their educational journey in NorthLight School. This role requires the display of sound pedagogical practices, proficiency in a myriad of Sports and Games, experience in Outdoor Education and a sound grounding in the principles of Strength, Fitness and Conditioning. Additionally, you will also lead and mentor students in their Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) which is pivotal in nurturing their holistic growth and character development.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver effective values-based SW lessons.

Identify and design appropriate support structures, strategies, and learning resources to enhance student engagement.

Develop instructional materials and lesson packages that cater to varied student profiles.

Monitor, evaluate, and refine pedagogical approaches and modes of assessment to continuously improve student learning outcomes.

Contribute actively to SW department initiatives, projects, and activities.

Mentor and guide students in CCAs.

Support School initiatives and directions.
Personal Competencies, Qualifications and Experiences:

Possesses a minimum qualification of at least a Diploma in Physical Education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education with Physical Education specialization.

Has prior teaching experience ideally in a specialized or technical education school setting of at least 3 years.

Possesses a resilient disposition and a keen passion for working with youth.

A team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
