Sepak Takraw
The Sepak Takraw CCA members are made up of Year 1 to Year 4 students.
Students are encouraged and motivated to learn the sepak takraw skills and rules of the game.
Students are enthusiastic, motivated and committed for the sport.
During Training sessions, teachers focus on:
Attendance for training sessions are closely monitored. Players’ skills and performance are assessed and new training techniques are introduce to improve their skills. Sepak Takraw CCA members are expected to be upright and respectful to others at all time. The students have shown great improvement in their team spirit, commitment and self-discipline. Training diligently and regularly, these students have the potential to be skillful and confidence players. With perseverance and persistant they will succeed in this sport and for life and living.

Semi-final and Final for the East-zone National inter-school sepak takraw championship was held at PERSES Stadium, Bedok North
Semi-final :
Northlight School loss to Bedok View Secondary School by 3-0.
Final : ( for 3rd and 4th placing )
Northlight School loss to Siglap Secondary School by 2-0.
Northlight school team played to their best and with high team-spirit, but loss to the better team Siglap Secondary School by 2 nil.
NLS team progressed to the National Inter-School Sepak Takraw Championships 2010.
