The Floorball team is made up of Year 1 to Yr 4 students who are enthuthiastic and passionate about floorball. Training sessions are supervised by the teacher-in-charge and external coach is hired for enrichment and advanced skills training. During floorball trainings, the students are expected to be :
The members look forward to training and improving their skills. Teamwork and caring for each other is emphasized. The senior boys are encouraged to help the junior during trainings and games. The boys have ample opportunities to take part in competition and to improve their skills by attending enrichment programmes. Team building activities are conducted at the end of each term to build rapport and team spirits. Affirmation ceremony is held to recognize the members effort as well as determination during trainings and competitions. |

In 2010 , the floorball team recruited 10 new members and the boys participated in the Inter-school Floorball competition for the 4th year. 3 boys were selected to attend the selection trials for the combined schools team, Md Alif of 4MS2 managed to go for the second round of selection. This year the 3rd Affirmation Awards for floorball members were also held in recognition of the members’ dedication, discipline and determination during trainings and competitions. This year the inter-class floorball competition was also held for the 2nd year in a row and was organised and run by the floorball members themselves. |

In 2009 we have a fresh batch of students who were interested in joining the team, and they took part in the Inter-school Floorball competition as well as played friendly matches with schools like Coral and ACI. |

The NLS Floorball team had 15 members in 2007 and 15 more joined in 2008 forming the “C” boys team. Both the “B” & “C” team took part in the Inter-school Floorball competition in 2008 and the “C” team managed to go into the second round after beating 2 out of the 3 teams that they played.
